About Bradley International School

Bradley Elementary has an interesting history. Click here to learn more!

Bradley is the first elementary school in Denver Public Schools to be authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School offering the IB Primary Years Programme for students Pre-K through fifth grade.  The IB PYP is an international curriculum that focuses on the students’ social, physical, emotional, and cultural development in addition to academic growth.  IB PYP schools have proven to promote critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and informed participants in local and global affairs.

At the center of the IP PYP curriculum are five essential elements: knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and actions.  Through a framework called “A Programme of Inquiry”, each IB PYP School designs units of inquiry that guide a child’s education.  This inquiry based programme sets high expectations while providing students with an academically challenging education.

Bradley International has a dedicated instructional staff working to provide a research based learning experience for all of its students.  We offer a half-day Pre-K (ECE) and kindergarten, as well as classes at first through fifth grade.  By providing inquiry based strategies and key concept questions, we strive to provide a challenging educational experience to all of our students, allowing them to reach their maximum potential.

The IB PYP curriculum at Bradley International

has been structured to:

  • Encourage positive attitudes in our students
  • Insure all instruction is designed around the District and Colorado State Standards
  • Establish active learning through methods of inquiry
  • Foster a child’s understanding of the world in which they live
  • Develop skills essential to language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, technology, art, music, physical education, and Spanish
  • Provide the knowledge and application of a second language (Spanish)

Our school has been greatly enhanced by parent and community involvement.   The school’s parent teacher organization (PTO), Collaborative School Committee (CSC), and  parent volunteers play a vital role in the student’s educational experiences at Bradley International.

Bradley International School is an excellent school of “choice”.

We welcome the opportunity for your child to grow with us in this exciting International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme!   Please call for further information or to schedule a tour of our school.
