Bradley After School Enrichment Programs

We are excited to offer a variety of after-school enrichment programs! All enrichment programs run from 3:45pm-5:00pm. Please send a snack for your child and be prompt for pick up at 5:00pm. Session 1: Week of September 11th—-Week of October 16th (Registration open NOW!)

Registration Process—Partner Vendor Programs: Partner Vendor Programs: Bradley International partners with four outside enrichment programs: SiliconStem AcademySound FormationSticky Fingers Cooking and Young Rembrandts Art. All of these enrichment programs are open to students in Kinder through 5th Grade. Partner programs meet in Room 122 (Spanish Room). Online Registration. Weird Science with SiliconStem Academy

If your student is interested in exploring the weird and unexpected world of science, then the Weird Science after-school program is the right place to start! Students will create a variety of projects in a hands-on setting and learn critical principles of science including chemical reactions, magnetic properties, the physics of momentum and bubble geometry. $84/session.

Rhythm & Percussion with Sound Math

Elite music training for your child. Experience the unique method pioneered by music education visionary, Curtis Madigan. Hand-percussion is the perfect foundation and starting place for learning music. Fusing rhythm with mathematics, music is clarified and simplified. Mr. Madigan’s curriculum develops the whole child, emphasizing character values and strengthening learning capacity with strategic and fun games. Unleash your creativity for all subjects. Sticky Fingers Cooking

Your kids can have a blast every week discovering how easy and fun it is to cook (and gobble-up!) tasty, healthy, American classics and globally-inspired Sticky Fingers Cooking recipes! Sticky Fingers Cooking offers young chefs the chance to explore exciting tastes (all seasonal and as local as possible!), master culinary skills (that they can put to use in family kitchens!) and nourish their bodies and minds. $84/session.

Young Rembrandts Art: We are so excited to bring Young Rembrandts to your school and the community. Young Rembrandts is the original children’s drawing program. We teach drawing, the fundamental skill necessary for all visual arts. Our step-by-step drawing method and top quality curriculum ensure success for every child. As a result, students show dramatic improvement in their drawing abilities, expand their art vocabulary and art history knowledge, demonstrate patience, discipline and focus, and improve their attention to detail and sequencing skills.. Bradley’s “In-House” After School Enrichment Programs: Bradley is excited to offer a wide variety of enrichment programs taught by our very own teachers and para-professionals! Payments (cash/check) are made directly to the instructor. Online Registration will be available starting at the Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 17th.

International Cooking Club

We are so excited to introduce International Cooking Club!  We will explore different countries and their foods.  It is total hands on.  Children will learn to chop, simmer, fry, and read recipes, as they prepare dishes from around the world. Enrollment is limited.  Mrs. Draper and Mrs. Daly will be hosting the club. Limit of 12 spaces. $50/session.

French Experience

Bonjour! Back this year! Exploratory enrichment activity for your child after school! Parlez-vous francais? We are happy to introduce you to Ms. Marie-Charlotte (“MC”) from Le Mans, France. She will explore French language and culture with your child. Limit of 10 spaces per class. $40/session.

Mondays: Introduction to French Experience for students in Grades 1-5.

Tuesdays: Advanced French for students that studied with MC last school year.

Kick it Up with Soccer

Now that the school year has begun Mr. Hoffer (PE/Dance teacher) is excited to start offering your children an opportunity to increase their athletic skills by holding after school clinics for various sports, fitness and dance.  The first after school activity will be SOCCER.  Games and skills will be played. There is a limited amount of space.  Students participating will be the first 24 to sign up. These activities are for Girls and Boys as they will play together. n case of bad weather, we will modify the activity and play inside. $30/session.

Connecting Japanese Culture and Art 

Here Comes After School Art Club! We’re starting with a K-2 club celebrating and exploring Japan.  We will create projects around Samurai warriors, Mt. Fuji, kites, clay sushi and other fun projects.  Please join us! Limit of 20 spaces per class. $30/session.

After School Drama Class

Calling all young actors in third through fifth grade! For our first after school drama program, we are going to perform Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Bloom.  This is a very funny, one act version of the novel, which centers on the sibling relationship between Peter and his younger brother Fudge.  If you are a fan of the Fudge series, this show is for you!  This is an ambitious show and will require 12 weeks of rehearsal and preparation (fall and winter sessions).  Please try to have your child present for all rehearsals. Students may bring a snack and water bottle to enjoy before class.  The performance will be December 6th at 6:00 in the Bradley auditorium. Limit of 30 spaces for 12 week class. $60/extended session.

Robotics and Coding

We have lots of new robots and materials to explore this year!  If you’re in 2nd through 5th grade, have been in class before or are just starting, this class is a blast! We will meet on Thursdays after school in the auditorium.  Feel free to bring a snack and a bottle of water. Limit of 20 spaces per class. $40/session.
