On September 16, 2008, Bradley International School held a groundbreaking ceremony for their new school and community garden. Sponsored by a generous donation from the Origins company through Denver Urban Gardens (DUG), the project will include five raised and five in-ground beds for the use of Bradley’s students, and up to 18 in-ground beds for the community. We have many volunteer needs, including: grant writers, "chefs" to cook with the kids, parents to run in-class seed projects, a coordinator for our George Washington High School volunteers, fundraising and over-the-summer garden care. If you have questions, suggestions, or would like to volunteer please contact Denise Eccles via Bradley’s main office.
