Dear Bradley Families:

We hope this message will help you prepare for our safe return to the 2021-2022 school year. In order to keep your children safe throughout the year, we have developed COVID safety protocols that will be in place to begin the year.

Please know we are paying close attention to ongoing public health developments related to the pandemic, both positive and negative, and we will adjust protocols when it is advisable to do so.

For the beginning of the 21/22 school year at Bradley, the following will be in effect:

Calendar: We are following the school calendar as published.

Bradley 2021-22 School Calendar

  • Bradley students will be in-person with all classes starting Monday, August 23rd.
  • There will be a Town Hall Zoom on Tuesday, August 17th at 6:00pm to provide more details. The invite will be sent next week.
  • Teacher Meet & Greet and Supply Drop-Off will be on August 19th from 2:00- 4:00 on the blacktop. 2021-22 School Supply List
    • Please wear masks for this event
  • ECE and Kindergarten Back to School Virtual meetings will held on August 19th at 6:00pm.
  • 1st through 5th grades Back to School Virtual meetings will held on August 26th at 6:00pm.



  • All staff and students (including all grades and regardless of vaccination status) will be required to wear masks while indoors.
  • Masks are optional outdoors.
    • At drop-off and pick-up we strongly encourage parents, families and students to wear masks as this is a difficult time to physical distance.


  • There will be no live/online streaming of classes at Bradley this year.
  • If a student is quarantined, they will receive packets or Seesaw assignments (or both) for the duration of the quarantine period.
  • Students who are absent for other health or family-related reasons can request make-up work from their teachers.


  • Attendance: If your child is going to be absent or tardy for any reason, you need to call the school attendance line (720-424-9398).
    • Absence: Please call 720-424-9398 before 8:00 am.
  • Tardy: Please call 720-424-9398 before 8:30 am.

Health Screening

  • There will not be daily health/temperature screenings for students at arrival this year.
  • If a child is brought to school, parents are certifying that their child is well, to the best of their knowledge, and, furthermore, that their child has not had an exposure to COVID-19.


  • Unvaccinated students will be required to quarantine if they test positive for COVID-19.
  • Unvaccinated students will be required to quarantine if they are determined to be in close contact to a person with COVID-19.
  • Fully-vaccinated students exposed to the virus will only be quarantined if they test positive or show symptoms of infection.


  • Faculty, staff, contract personnel (maintenance, enrichment classes, etc.) will adhere to above mask requirements while on campus.
  • We strongly urge all parents to be vaccinated and students to be vaccinated when those become available.

Other In-classroom/School Safety Protocols:

  • Windows will be open to allow more fresh air and greater circulation.
  • Surface sanitizing and frequent handwashing procedures will continue.
  • Students will be distanced from 3-6 feet, where and when possible.

Parents on Campus:

  • Parents can drop-off and pick-up students outside.
  • Parents should wait on the sidewalk, at the designated areas or on the blacktop at drop-off and pick-up. Bradley Arrival and Dismissal Maps.
  • We strongly encourage parents, families and students to wear a mask at drop-off and pick-up as these are close-contact times.
  • At this time, we can have extremely limited parent access to the Bradley office. A fully-vaccinated and masked parent may only come to the office.
  • When granted access, only one parent may be in the office at a time.

  • Ongoing communication between home and school is critical for our success. Please call the front office at 720-424-9468 if you have any concerns, questions or to report COVID-19 exposure or diagnosis.
  • Friday emails, School Messenger or Deets, will be our main forms of communication. You can access all previous communications on the Bradley Website.
  • The Parent Handbook is on the website.
  • Friday folders will be sent home with students every Friday and should be returned on Monday.
