News from the Nest….

  • Fridays in October are College & Career Celebration Days – wear your college spiritwear or purple on Fridays in October!
  • Remember: NO School on Friday, October 15th!

School News

  • Parent Teacher Conferences: Be on the lookout for a sign up for conferences from your student’s teacher.
  • Lost & Found Wednesday: All lost & found items will be on tables at the main entrance on Wednesday, October 13. Please come by to collect your missing items. All leftover items will be donated.
  • NO Glass Water Bottles: Please send your student to school with a plastic or metal water bottle. Glass water bottles are not encouraged as they can break easily. And again, make sure that water bottles have student’s names on them.
  • Menus: As you have probably heard on the news, DPS Food Service is being impacted by the supply and employment shortages in Colorado and around the country. The lunch menu has been fluctuating and we still see a milk shortage. We will try to keep the Bradley website updated daily with any changes to the lunch menu. Please check there each morning for changes: Bradley Menus

PTO News

  • Thank you to families for purchasing Purple Friday Spiritwear through the Bradley online store last week! Your items are being printed and embroidered and we estimate that orders will be delivered by the end of October. Stay tuned!
  • Fun Run – Donations Due Next Week! Thank you students, family and friends for your amazing support and donations to the Bradley PTO Fun Run! Please be sure to collect all pledge money and return your student’s pledge envelope with the money by Thursday, October 14. Each student that collects at least $30 in pledge money will receive one prize drawing ticket for a chance to win some great prizes. The more money a student raises = the more prize drawing tickets entered into the drawing = the more chance your student has to win prizes! Also, the student who raises the most money (and meets all the due dates) in the school will win a $50 gift card of their choice! Remember, to be eligible to win prizes, all money must be turned in by next Thursday. Three payment options are available: cash, check (payable to “Bradley PTO”), or by credit card online:
  • PTO Meetings: The Bradley PTO meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7 pm by Zoom. Please check the website for details – our next meeting is November 4. Head to the Bradley PTO website review meeting minutes from the October meeting held this week – we had updates on Halloween, Fun Run, new fundraising ideas and budget goals.
