  • Greetings From the Bradley Library! As the school year winds down, we are trying to collect all the library books before summer break. Please try and locate all missing books and return them to our library as soon as you can. If the books cannot be located, you may either pay a $20 cash fee so we may purchase a new copy of the book for our library OR you may buy a copy of the same hardback book and donate it to the library. If the books are not accounted for, your child will not be able to attend Bradley Field Day and an alternate activity will be provided. If you cannot locate the book and payment is not an option for your family, please let me know. We can try and accommodate you as best we can. Thank you! Ms. Distel, Teacher Librarian

PTO News

  • Coming Soon – School Supplies Sale: Thinking about school supplies for next year? Although summer is almost here, the new school year will be here before you know it, and with it comes the whirlwind of shopping for school supplies. With that in mind, PTO is partnering with school supply company, EPI, to provide parents an optional, hassle-free way to buy school supplies for next year. School supplies purchased through EPI will be delivered directly to the school, letting you cross that “to do” off your back-to-school list. Watch next week for a DEET with all the details including costs and timing. This school supply ordering opportunity will be available May 27-June 12.
  • PTO Meeting Minutes: Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our year end PTO meeting on May 12th. It was great to see so many people in person. For anyone that missed our meeting, the meeting minutes are on the PTO website. We look forward to connecting with everyone late this summer as we begin planning next fall’s Fun Run!

Community Events

  • Armed Forces Day – President Harry S. Truman led the effort to establish a single holiday for citizens to come together and thank our military members for their patriotic service in support of our country. On August 31, 1949, Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson announced the creation of an Armed Forces Day to replace separate Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force Days. The single day celebration stemmed from the unification of the Armed Forces under the Department of Defense. This year Armed Forces Day is Saturday, May 21, 2022.
