School News

  • Last Days of School: Remember, next week is a short week. Students will be dismissed on Wednesday at 11:15am. The school will be closed for the summer on Friday, June 7, 2024.
  • Medication Pick Up: Please stop by the nurse’s office to pick up your students’ medication by June 5th. Any medication not picked up will be destroyed. Please contact Nurse Shayla at 720-424-9394 with any questions.

IB Learner Profile of the Month
The Learner Profile for the month of May is “Reflective”. Students who are reflective give thoughtful consideration to their learning and experience.  They are able to assess and understand their strengths and limitations in order to support their learning and personal development.

Activities for Parents:

  • Spend some time reviewing your child’s report card with them.  They should have the opportunity to look at this document and consider it well. Discuss it with them and truly consider their thoughts and their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • As we begin to wrap up this school year, have your child take some time to think about what they have learned this year-both socially and academically.  Have them create goals for themselves to continue the growth and reflection process.
  • Attend IB Student Led Conferences on May 3rd, so that your child can reflect on the different learning experiences they have had the opportunity to engage with!
  • May IB Attitude

News from the Nurse:

  • Medication Pick Up: Please stop by the nurse’s office to pick up your students’ medication by June 5th. Please contact Nurse Shayla at 720-424-9394 with any questions.

CSC:

  • CSC 2024-25 Election: CSC Election Notice: Every school within the Denver Public School District has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC) in place.  The Bradley CSC is different from the Bradley PTO.  Unlike the PTO, the CSC focuses on bringing together staff, parents, and community members to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within the school. Being a part of the CSC is an exciting opportunity to be involved in our school community, not to mention to participate in the education of all our students. When we return to school for the 2024-25 school year, we will hold elections for three open parent positions on the CSC.  We hope you’ll consider serving. In the meantime, if you would like more information concerning the CSC, please contact Steph Itelman, CSC co-chair, at steph.itelman@gmail.com

PTO Happenings:

  • Buy Your 2024-2025 School Supplies Now through June 23rd! Are you thinking about school supplies for next year? Although summer is almost here, the new school year will be here before you know it, and with it comes the whirlwind of shopping for school supplies. With that in mind, the PTO is partnering with EPI, a school supply company, to provide parents with an optional, hassle-free way to buy school supplies for next year. School supplies purchased through EPI will be delivered directly to the school, letting you cross that “to do” off your back-to-school list. In addition, the PTO makes $1 from each kit purchased. The flier with more details and prices is attached to this DEET. To order your supplies, please visit: https://www.educationalproducts.com/ShopPacks Use School code: BRA241  (3 letters/3 numbers) To see next year’s school supply list: School Supply List 24-25 Please note: Headphones are not included in the supply pack. You can either order them separately from EPI or provide your own set on the first day of school. Also, be on the lookout for personal items such as t-shirts, water bottles, etc., which will not be part of the EPI kit.
  • Check out the PTO website for details and events for next school year.
