What a hot week! We sure hope everyone found nice cool, summer activities to do this weekend!
Our Virtual Kindergarten Back to School went very well last night! We are excited to have our upcoming 1st – 5th Back to School on Wednesday and our Parent/Teacher Virtual meetings this week as well.
Just a few notes:
Bradley Registration/Annual Family Update: We still have over 100 families who have not completed their Annual Family Update. There will not be any paper copies due to the COVID guidelines. All DPS families are required to complete the Annual Family Update by Monday, August 24, 2020. If you filled out an Early Bird Annual Family Update in May, you will need to complete the AFU Addendum which is called the Learning Option Change Form on your Parent Portal. By updating this form, you would choose whether to have your student(s) learn virtually or in-person this school year. The Addendum can now be found in your Parent Portal account and can be done online and can be updated through the remote learning timeframe. Virtual Back to School Night for 1st Grade – 5th Grades will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 6:00pm and another session at 6:45pm (families with siblings) via Zoom. A Zoom invite will be sent to families prior to the meeting.
ECE Back to School: Dates will be determined and we keep you posted when the district announces ECE information. Your teachers will be reaching out to you the week of August 24th.
Mr. Wera’s Town Hall Zoom Meeting: Join Mr. Wera on Thursday, August 20th for the 4th edition of his Town Hall meetings. Please see your School Deet/SchoolMessenger for Zoom link information.
Technology and Materials Pick-Up: Your teacher should have connected with you about material and technology needs. We will have a materials and technology pick up set for Thursday and Friday. August 20th – 8:00-10:00am – 5th Grade, 1st Grade, and 3rd Grade and August 20th – 2:00-4:00pm – Kinder, 2nd and 4th. August 21st – 8:00-10:00am – Kinder, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade and August 21st – 2:00-4:00pm – 5th Grade, 1st Grade and 3rd Grade.
Remember – First Day of School is Monday, August 24th! We will be starting remotely – we look forward to ‘seeing’ you!
