The School Performance Framework is a critical tool for helping our students and families understand how their school is performing. These school report cards can be the starting point for meaningful conversations with your school leaders and teachers about your school’s progress, and to help you find out what you can do as a family to support your child’s academic growth.
Many families use the SPF in making decisions during the SchoolChoice process. The ratings make it easy to see how each school is serving students compared to district expectations, and to understand where schools are making progress or need to grow.
Throughout DPS, we use the information we get from each year’s SPF to monitor school progress, support schools where they need it and ensure we hold ourselves accountable for the success of every child.
