News from the Nest….

  • Remember, NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day Holiday! Enjoy your long weekend!
  • Teachers are scheduling individual back to school conferences. These will be short, introductory meetings via Zoom. Please look for their invites in order to sign up for a time.
  • The Severe Weather Drill and Fire Drill went smoothly this week. We will have a Lockdown Drill with DPS Safety and Security before the end of the month.

School News

  • Student Drop-off/Pick-up: Please remember to be respectful of our neighbors and their driveways. Also, the staff parking lot is not a student drop off or pick up area. The secretary parking spots are not for drop off in the morning for Discovery Link. We want all students and parents to be safe!
  • DigitalDeets: As a school, we are transitioning to using DigitalDeets for our weekly and special communications. If you haven’t connected with your student, you will receive a letter in your child’s Friday Folder this week.   • School Breakfast Hours: If your student will be eating breakfast, please drop them off at 8:00am at the front doors. Students are late to class starting at 8:15am. September menus are attached and can be found on the Bradley website: Breakfast & Lunch Menu
  • After School Enrichment Session 1: First session for after school enrichment is ready to start the week of September 13th! Classes will be held after school until 4:30pm. Registration CLOSES on Wednesday, September 8th at 4pm. See the flyer in your student’s Friday Folder, the Bradley website, or here: Session 1 Enrichment

PTO News

  • Bradley PTO Backpack Program: The PTO sponsored backpack program is open to all Bradley families. We provide a weekly bag of nonperishable groceries for families that request it. Bags will be delivered to your student’s classroom on Thursday or Friday depending on the school calendar.   • Bradley International School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Get Involved, Support Your School! This is a GREAT way to meet parents, get involved and volunteer as you have time (no amount is too small).
  • King Soopers Community Rewards Program – FREE Money for Bradley! Every time you shop with your Sooper Card (or alternate ID) at King Soopers, Bradley gets a percentage of your purchase as a donation. It takes less than a minute to sign up. Please link your Sooper card to Bradley International School. Right now, we have 150 households participating and receive about $10,000 per year in King Soopers donations! Just think if we had 200, 300 or more households participate!Here’s how it works:

  • FUN RUN!
    These Bradley Eagles are ready to bring the Fun Run back this fall! The Fun Run is on Oct. 1, hosted by the PTO and our very own amazing Purple Flash (aka Mr. Hoffer). The event is held throughout the day and each grade participates during their specials time. The kids run a track on the Bradley playground field: ~50 yards for younger kids, ~150 yards for older kids. PTO needs help organizing this event. Please complete the Fun Run Volunteer Sign-Up form to join us! Volunteers must be vaccinated to participate.

Community Happenings

  • Cub Scouts Pack 5 is looking for kids from k to 5th grade interested in learning life skills! In the Cub Scout program, we learn about everything from setting up tents for camping to how to build robots!
