Student Led BLM March

Posted 06/17/2020

Hello Bradley Families!

Two of our very own 4th Grade students are organizing a Black Lives Matter neighborhood march this Saturday, June 20th. The march will begin at 1:00 pm and will start at Bradley on Elm Street.

Our organizers heard about the protests and marches that are going on around the country/world and they wanted to organize a local march to let our community know that Black Lives Matter.

We will be marching for equal rights for black people and to stop racism. The march will start at the front of the school (Black Lives Matter Route). If you would like to join, please bring your mask, your sunscreen & water, your signs of solidarity, and your passion for equality!

  • Everyone will need to be aware of and follow social distancing recommendations.
  • Parents MUST accompany children
  • Everyone will need to wear a mask.
  • Everyone will need to stay 6 feet away from others.

Bradley International School will not be open (please bring your water, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, etc.).

Please leave your pets at home as there will be many young children participating in this march. We will march about 2 miles through the neighborhood, around the park, and back to Bradley.  Tell your family, neighbors, friends, fellow Bradley students and alumni to join us for this exciting event.

We love it and encourage all Bradley students to take action!

We hope to see you there!

Mr. Wera & Mrs. Maggio
