Bradley Weekly Newsletter
As we approach the Thanksgiving break, there is no better way to express our gratitude than by celebrating the wonderful community we have here at Bradley. This week, we had the privilege of gathering for our Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday. It was heartwarming to see our Bradley community come together for an event that celebrated our gratitude and appreciation that defines us.
On Friday, we held our First Trimester Awards Ceremony, which was a special time to honor the hard work and dedication of our students. While we celebrated their academic achievements, we also recognized the embodiment of our IB attributes—Risk Taker, Communicator and Inquirer. It was a beautiful reminder of the well-rounded excellence that we strive for.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing 3rd-grade PTO families for providing the wonderful hospitality table for our staff. Your thoughtful gesture brought so much joy to our team and was a wonderful reminder of the support and care that makes our school community so special. It’s acts of kindness like these that strengthen our connections and create a truly welcoming environment for everyone. Thank you for lifting our spirits and helping us feel so appreciated!
We want to wish our Bradley community a restful and joyous break. We will return to school on December 2nd, ready to continue our collaborative journey together. As a reminder, we have a Teacher Planning Day on December 6. Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community!
Warm regards,
Kimberly Ulery, Principal
Jose Fernando Hernandez, Assistant Principal
Staff Shout OutLuisa Hernandez, Maria Haridman, Annette Hyman A huge shout-out to our amazing cafeteria team for the vital role they play in our school community every single day! You are the heart of our school, ensuring that all students are nourished with healthy meals, cared for, and supported in a warm and welcoming environment. From the colorful salad bar to the thoughtfully prepared main dishes, you demonstrate a commitment to excellence and inclusivity. Your work connects beautifully to the IB profile, as you exemplify the attribute, Caring, by supporting the well-being of every student and fostering a sense of belonging. By offering diverse menu options, you encourage our students to be Open-Minded, introducing them to new foods and cultures that broaden their perspectives. Your commitment to our community was especially evident during our Thanksgiving lunch this week, where you went above and beyond to serve delicious meals while creating a space for families to come together and connect. Your smiles, warmth, and incredible teamwork turned the event into a celebration of community and gratitude, showcasing the IB attribute of being Reflective as we all paused to appreciate what we have. Thank you for all that you do, day in and day out, to nourish not only our bodies, but also our school spirit. You make a difference every day, and we are so grateful for you! |

University Hills Turkey Trot – Thursday 11/28
We hope to see you there!!
Each year a former Bradley parent hosts a Turkey Trot run/walk on Thanksgiving morning. You arrive to check in starting at 8:30am and the event starts at 9am. You can go to the Rec Center parking lot to park and that is where the event starts. Funds collected ($10/person or $30/family) for this race are returned to Bradley to help buy food and presents for Bradley families in need this holiday season. It’s a great event and it’s always nice to get a little exercise before eating and lounging and visiting with family! We’d love to see our Bradley community on Thanksgiving morning for a little exercise (rain, snow or shine!). We thank the University Hills community for their donations. Please see the FLIER for more information and we’ll see you there! Donate using this CheddarUp Link.
