Within the last ten years, several of the Bradley teachers have been honored in the Denver community for their dedication and commitment to teaching. In short, going above and beyond!

Ellen English, 1st grade – Ms. English received the Distinguished Denver Teacher Award. Ms. English has been a teacher at Bradley since 1993, and has been an educator for over 30 years. Mrs. English absolutely loves teaching first graders and wants all of her students to leave school happy and they always do thanks to her enthusiasm.

Sara Gallegos, GT Teacher – Mrs. Gallegos won the 9News, 9Teachers Who Care Award. Mrs. Gallegos is an outstanding, “out of the box” educator who has brought her unique talents to Bradley. She has captured and inspired our students to do more, think globally, act locally and pursue their dreams through amazing and thoughtful projects. She loves teaching and is a very active volunteer for the Congo Relief Mission.

Andrew Hoffer, PE Teacher – Mr. Hoffer was a recipient of the Distinguished Denver Teacher Award. Mr. Hoffer’s passion is contagious! He loves teaching, coaching and motivating children to become more independent athletes as well as team-players who thrive as lifelong learners.  He creates an energetic, engaging  and respectful atmosphere where all students are encouraged to think, share, compete and have FUN! He also is our sponsor for the annual Kids Heart Challenge! The kids are always on the lookout for Captain Canada and the Bradley Purple Flash or for the next school-wide themed activity!

Lisa Zinn, ECEMs. Zinn was recognized as a “Fearless Leader” by Denver’s Early Childhood Council for her commitment to teaching young children for over 27 years, and leading the Early Childhood Education team at Bradley since 1999. Miss Zinn is a tireless advocate for students and families, always striving to create meaningful relationships with both.
