We are incredibly proud of the continued progress our students are making and the dedication of our amazing teachers. As we move into the final trimester of the school year, we encourage you to discuss your student’s progress with them and collaboratively set goals for the months ahead. We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the support and partnership you provide to our school. Your involvement makes a significant difference in the lives of our students.

Shout OutWe came together as classroom communities to celebrate, uplift, and cheer on our students for their hard work, dedication, and achievements across all content areas in our Trimester Awards ceremonies! From math, literacy, science, and social studies to Spanish, Library, Art, and PE, our students have shown perseverance, curiosity, and a passion for learning every single day! But that’s not all—this was also a moment to honor the heart of our school: the IB Learner Profile! Our students are not just learning; they are becoming Thinkers, Communicators, Risk-Takers, Caring friends, and Reflective leaders who make our school a better place. This ceremony was a powerful reminder of the incredible diversity of talents, strengths, and achievements in our school. Keep shining, keep striving, and keep inspiring! 🌟👏 We are SO proud of you! |

Bradley International School Families- We have challenged students to join Kids Heart Challenge and complete Finn’s Mission! So far we have raised $5,971.03 of our $23,000.00 goal and 79 students have taken the first step to join our school team! We are excited to partner with the American Heart Association and build a community of lifesavers, and so far 14 students have completed all 7 steps in Finn’s Mission! Will you be next? Join us here.
Will you send at least 4 messages to friends and families about what you have learned? (one message for every chamber in your heart) What kind of impact do you think it would make if those friends and families also made a donation to support the AHA! Any support you are able to give helps us make our community a little happier, healthier, and safer! Don’t forget! Every student who raises $50 will qualify to purchase discounted tickets and get a special ON COURT experience with the Denver Nuggets! The class with the most students registered gets an EXTRA PE CLASS! Every student who raises $75 will get to SLIME Mr. Hoffer and every student who raises $150 gets to SLIME Mrs. Ulery!! Congratulations to the following students who have already earned our school’s challenge: Nathaniel S , Justina M , Natalie R , Bennett B , Joshua B , London H , Cooper N , Calvin O , Olivia P , Evelyn M , Asher P , Lemon M , Peter N , Sarah W , Ari P , Max G. Every year over 400,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests occur, meaning that a bystander would need to step in and help save a life, that’s YOU! Kids as young as NINE are strong enough to perform proper chest compressions. Performing immediate Hands-Only CPR can double or triple someone’s chances of survival!
4Ocean Project: Message from 1st Grade
Dear Bradley Families,
The first graders are learning all about the ocean and how our actions impact its ecosystem. We are excited to share with you an opportunity to support our students and the environment through the sale of 4ocean bracelets at a discounted price.
4ocean is an organization founded by two surfers dedicated to cleaning up ocean pollution. They create bracelets and other items from recycled materials they remove from the ocean and beaches. Each purchase helps to remove one pound of trash from the oceans and beaches around the world. You can learn more about their inspiring story at this link: 4Ocean Mission
To assist our students in making a positive impact, we will be offering 4ocean bracelets for purchase from March 3rd to March 14th. All orders with cash payment must be submitted by Friday, March 14th, no late orders will be accepted.
Please consider participating in and supporting the first graders in this action project by purchasing bracelets. Attached, you will find a list of available items and an order form. Remember to include your child’s name and grade level and teacher’s name on the form and make payments in CASH ONLY.
Keep an eye out for an order form in your child’s backpack or you can find one near the front office. Thank you for supporting our 1st graders in this important project.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Dines
Ms. Dougherty
Ms. English
DPS Summer Academy/Connections
Summer Academy takes place from June 9 to July 3 and provides rising students in grades one through five with equitable and impactful opportunities supporting academic progress while addressing individual needs. The extended school year focuses on maintaining IEP goals through specialized instruction and services. Extended Learning and Community Schools offer extended learning and enrichment, allowing students to pursue their passions while engaging families. Summer Academy combats the summer slide in literacy and math using READ Act data to provide targeted interventions. Together, these programs create a comprehensive and inclusive summer learning experience, ensuring students continue to grow in a structured and supportive environment. Registration is open now through April 16. If you have questions, email DPSSummerAcademy@dpsk12.org.3rd-5th Grade CMAS Letter
For Families of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students:
The Colorado Measures of Academic Success, known as CMAS, are the state’s end-of-year common measurement of students’ progress and include the following assessments:
Review the CMAS Schedule to see when your child will be testing. Missed instruction due to makeup testing can be avoided when students arrive on-time and when appointments and vacations are scheduled for non-testing days. Before each CMAS test session, students are instructed to turn off personal electronic devices and turn them in to the teacher. This, along with our school cell phone policy, helps maintain the validity of tests and a standardized testing environment for all students. Find student practice resources here and CDE family resources here.
Please see the April CMAS schedule (dates subject to change). Please try not to schedule appointments during the testing days for your student. Please make sure they come to school prepared – good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast. We know our students are going to Rock the CMAS!
News from the Nurse
It’s cold and flu season! We have seen an uptick of fever and respiratory sickness. Please make sure that your student is healthy prior to sending to school to help decrease the spread of illness. You can also use the General Health Practices below to decrease the spread of infection:
By following these practices, we can help reduce the transmission of respiratory illnesses in our schools and protect the health of everyone in our community.
