Principal Update 

We are excited for our students to showcase their work and accomplishments from the school year during our student led conferences tomorrow, May 2.  Enjoy your time in your students’ classrooms and don’t forget to visit our specials teachers as well.  This is a great opportunity for our students to reflect on their learning and share their achievements with you.

Mr. Nahulu has been working with our students to update the banners on the playground during their specials rotation in art.  Take a look at the sample artwork along the hallway toward the gym and cafeteria while you are in the building tomorrow.  Cast a vote for your top choices to be published and hung up in the next few weeks.

No School – Friday, May 2nd … It’s Student Led Conference Day!!

East Yale & Holly Road Work

What a surprise for some of us during this morning’s commute!  The road work and the delays that were caused at the Yale and Holly area are due to the Denver Water project. DPS Early Bird Online Registration

This year the Early Bird window will be Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 13.  At the beginning of each school year, ALL DPS families will need to complete the Online Registration. The registration is ONLINE ONLY and is REQUIRED FOR ALL DPS FAMILIES!  Registration can only be completed by the parent guardian listed in the primary household of the student record. Parents/guardians must have an active DPS Parent Portal account; check for an active account or create an account at myportal.dpsk12.org. May IB Learner Profile
The Learner Profile for the month of May is “Reflective”.  Those who are reflective give thoughtful consideration to their learning and experience.  They are able to assess and understand their strengths and limitations in order to support their learning and personal development. 

Activities for Parents

• Spend some time reviewing your child’s report card with them this month.  They should have the opportunity to look at this document and consider it as well.  Discuss it with them and truly support them in thinking about their strengths and areas for improvement. 
• After student-led conferences, continue to reflect on their learning experiences this year and what they might need to do over the summer to continue to support their growth.  These reflections could take place around the learner profiles or specific subject areas. 

PTO NEWS : PTO WEBSITE

• PTO Meeting: Join us next Thursday, May 8 at 3 pm for the LAST Bradley PTO Meeting of the year! In the library or on Zoom (visit the Bradley PTO website for Zoom links). Free child care is provided. 
• Staff Appreciation Week: Next week, May 5-9 we have big plans to show our Bradley staff much deserved appreciation. This year’s theme is “It’s PLANE to see our staff is the best in the WORLD” with a travel theme, where each day a different country will be the focus (trivia, prizes, treats, music, etc.). 
  • We are still needing a few people to help (<1 hour of your time) to set up or clean up each day’s activities – visit the Sign Up Genius to find a slot that works for your schedule. 
• 2025-26 School Supplies: Want to get a head start on the 2025-26 school year? Take a task off your back-to-school to do list now by ordering your school supplies NOW through EPI. Supplies purchased through EPI are delivered directly to Bradley – you just have to purchase them by June 22, 2025! PLUS the PTO will raise $1 per kit purchased. Look for the School Supply Flier in your student’s Friday Folder or visit EducationalProducts.com/ShopPacks/ and enter School code/ID: BRA241. 
• WANTED – PTO President Shadow: Are you a fun-loving, organized human that likes planning fun school activities and working with other amazing parents and Bradley staff to benefit the school? Then we are looking for you! Join us over the next year to shadow our current PTO President and learn all the tips and tricks to being the most amazing support for Bradley! • Bradley PTO Sponsorship: Calling all fantastic businesses – we are looking for your (or your family/friend’s business) to sponsor Bradley for the 2025-26 school year! Businesses can get their name and information out to all Bradley families by participating in the program – visit the Bradley PTO website to see all the options and benefits businesses receive when they sign up to sponsor!
• Mark your calendars for May 15th from 5-6:30 p.m. to attend the Bradley Family Festival!
