Every school within DPS has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC). The CSC brings together staff, parents, students, and community members to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within the school.
- Colorado law requires all schools have a CSC to increase accountability and family involvement.
- CSCs are the primary family involvement structure for DPS schools.
Bradley’s CSC includes the following representatives:
- The principal of the school or principal’s designee;
- 2 teachers/classified employees at the school, elected by majority vote of the faculty/classified employees in the school (elected by secret ballot), of which at least one must be a teacher;
- 3 parents or guardians of a student enrolled in the school, elected by majority of voting parents/guardians with children in the school;
- To the extent possible, there shall be no more than two (2) parents representing any one grade or program;
- To the extent possible, there shall be one (1) parent that also participates on the PTO; and
- One (1) business/employer or community representative from the local community nominated by a member of the CSC and approved by the other members of the CSC.
