    • American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge: Ready for a life-changing mission Bradley International School? Why does it matter? Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in America and is 80% preventable. We want to empower families to take charge of their heart health. 
    • DCTA: The DCTA newcomer clothes drive starts officially on Monday, February 12, and will go through March 1st.  A collection box will be at Bradley starting on Monday, February 12. We are so excited that Bradley is participating in this event with the DCTA. We’ll gather materials for our DPS HUBs and school distribution sites!  Bradley will be collecting kids winter boots, hats, gloves and grocery gift cards. Donations being collected will have a home and be useful to the majority of our newcomers and their families.  If you are not familiar with the DPS HUB program sites, please click here to check them out!   • Job Opportunities at Bradley: We have a full time paraprofessional position as well as a part time afternoon ECE paraprofessional available. Please check the DPS Job Board and search for jobs at Bradley!
  • School Choice 2024-25: Open Choice Enrollment Round 1 will close February 12, 2024 at 4:00pm. All ECE families have to submit a Choice Application. 5th grade families should submit a choice application if they are trying to attend a middle school that is not their boundary school.

  • VOLUNTEER: Volunteers in the school must fill out the DPS Volunteer form each year and must be cleared before volunteering in the classroom. DPS Volunteer

News from the Nurse:

  • For students who are ill, please call the Attendance Line at 720.424.9398 
  • ILLNESS SYMPTOMS- If your student has a fever or exhibits any symptoms related to COVID-19 or any other infectious disease they must stay home and avoid coming to school. Anyone with a fever or vomiting must remain home and fever-free for 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medication. Please continue to call the attendance line to report absences. 
  • Students who present these symptoms at school will be sent home (Fever, vomiting, coughing, cruddy/runny nose, etc.)
  • NUTS: Please make sure that you don’t bring items with nuts into the classroom, as we have students with allergies to nuts.
  • MEDICATION: If your student needs medicine during the school day, please contact our nurse Shayla Marak at 720-424-9394 to discuss the necessary paperwork.

  • Backpack Program February Food Drive: It’s that time again! Our February food drive for the backpack program is the 12th-15th. This month we will be collecting Jiffy corn muffin mix, boxes of cereal, loafs of bread, jerky, bags of apples, clementines and whole carrots as well as monetary donations to be used for future food bank purchases. Thank you so much for your support!
  • Thank YOU Bradley families! The Read-a-Thon raised over $30,000 and students read just over 357,00 minutes total! The school will get over $24,000 that will go back to help with school improvements and directly to your student’s classroom. PLUS our top prizes for the school go to…
    • Top fundraising class in the school (wins ultimate recess at Eisenhower Park, date TBD) = Harrison!
    • Top reading minutes class in the school (wins a pizza party with dessert on 2/20) = Grotegut!
