Bradley Weekly Newsletter

Principal Update

We hope you had a restful and refreshing break! It has been wonderful to welcome back all our students for an exciting few weeks of learning and exploration. This week, our youngest learners in ECE had a special visit from the Fire Department as part of their unit on community jobs, which brought lots of smiles and curiosity to our classrooms. Our 2nd graders also enjoyed an adventurous field trip to the Museum of Nature and Science, where they explored the fascinating Animals of the Rainforest exhibit and much more.

We are excited for a week ahead of field trips as well as an all school STEAM Day on December 12th. It will be a fantastic opportunity for students to dive into hands-on, collaborative activities that spark creativity and innovation.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we create memorable learning experiences for our students.

Kimberly Ulery, Principal

Jose Fernando Hernandez, Assistant Principal

Staff Shout Out

A Shout-Out to Our Amazing Facilities Team

Bryan Coulter, Rocky Howe, Jocelyn Sandoval

Our facilities team is the backbone of our school, working tirelessly to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. They arrive early in the morning and are the last to leave each day, ensuring our school sparkles and is ready for learning.

Their hard work embodies the IB attributes of being caring, as they consistently show concern for the well-being of our entire school community, and principled, as they demonstrate integrity and responsibility in everything they do.

We are so grateful for their dedication and the vital role they play in making our school a place where everyone can thrive. The next time you see a custodian, take a moment to thank them for their incredible contributions to our school!

Activities for Parents

  • Involve your child in deciding on the rules for a game or activity and then ensure that they stick to the ones that have been decided upon.
  • Encourage your child to play games that involve teams.  Discuss with your child the qualities of a team player.  What sort of person would they want on their team?
  • When playing a game, don’t change the rules or let your child win.  Help them understand that being a gracious loser is as important as being a good winner.
  • Recognize or praise when your child demonstrates principled behavior like sharing, standing up for others, or admitting to a mistake!
  • Ask your child to name the positive and negative behaviors in stories that they have read.
