Bradley Collaborative School Committee

Each Denver Public School has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC) with representation from parents, community, faculty, administrators, and classified staff. The purpose and scope of the CSC is to enhance student achievement and school climate by engaging the school community in collaborative efforts supporting the school and District’s goals. The CSC provides strategic direction in support of the school’s mission and vision as stated in the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP).

Additional information about the purpose and scope of the CSC is available on the DPS website. Bradley’s CSC meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (bimonthly during the budget process), and all meetings are open to the public. The first ten minutes are for community comment. Meeting dates, agendas, and minutes will be posted on the bulletin board outside the main office on the months that CSC meets.

Each school in Denver Public Schools has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC) that includes family members, teachers, and community members. CSC members collaborate to provide input to school leadership that promotes high achievement within the school. The CSC provides recommendations regarding the school calendar, priorities for spending money, and the plan the school creates to ensure academic progress and a high-quality school environment (the UIP). If you are interested in learning more about Bradley’s CSC and planning for the 2024-25 school year, including ensuring membership is representative of our school community, please send an email to BRADLEYibcsc@gmail.com in your preferred language. 2024-25 CSC Roadmap here

  • CSC 2024-25 Election: CSC Election Notice: Every school within the Denver Public School District has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC) in place.  The Bradley CSC is different from the Bradley PTO.  Unlike the PTO, the CSC focuses on bringing together staff, parents, and community members to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within the school. Being a part of the CSC is an exciting opportunity to be involved in our school community, not to mention to participate in the education of all our students. When we return to school for the 2024-25 school year, we will hold elections for three open parent positions on the CSC.
  • Bradley’s CSC has an opening for a community member to join the committee next school year. The ideal person is a part of our University Hills community, understands the community needs, and is eager to support and strengthen our school community. They may bring the benefit of expertise in education, community organizing, or another helpful field. The CSC commitment requires about 2 hours per month.

CSC representatives welcome your questions and input. Questions and input should be related to the purpose and scope of the CSC as outlined above.
